Landmark Refitting Projects
In 2022, we secured a significant milestone by becoming the only registered firm with the Indian Navy to undertake fully offloaded refitting projects for IPVs. We successfully completed challenging projects for two Indian ships, INS CHETLAT and CORA DIVH.
This marked a historic moment in the strategically located Islands, where a private firm was awarded the maiden single-ship refit work order for refitting two Naval fighter ships (FAC Class).
Our commitment to work quality and client satisfaction resulted in the successful completion of these refits with minimal guarantee defects, which portrays the quality of our Shipyard’s workmanship.
Mooring of Floating Dry-dock Navy 2
We triumphed over two competitors in securing the project for the mooring of Floating Dry-dock Navy 2.
Our expertise and capabilities stood out, leading to our selection for this important undertaking.
METS outperformed yet again and executed this unique turnkey project successfully for the Indian Navy.
METS is the first shipyard in the region registered by the departments of Ministry of Defence and capable of undertaking the refit and repairs of Fast Patrol Vessels (FPVs) and Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPVs) for the Indian Coast Guard. This pioneering capability sets METS apart, highlighting its advanced technical expertise and commitment to serving high-profile maritime segments.
